In 1992, Brandon pulled an old 1953 Studebaker out of a junkyard, and in just seven short months, was on the Bonneville Salt Flats playing with a new "toy".
Some of Brandon's toys in the early 80's. His flathead-powered '53 Ford was a neat nostalgia cruiser. His old direct-drive, Yetman-framed, fueler was just another excuse to go really fast. His orange 77 CU IN Sportster was given a six page feature in the February, 1984 issue of Easyriders magazine.
Brandon has accomplished many things in his life, so far, that most poeple only dreamed about. His "need for speed" probably will never be satisfied, as he continues to build and ride (pilot) many new projects. As a friend who has known him for a long, long, long time, I can tell you what I keep telling him......"You need to write a couple of books" ! ! ! You can't imagine the tales that he tells (especially after a few beers) that are nearly unbelievable.....But I remember them as they happened ! ! !
Photo of Brandon in Maine in 1971. He likes road trips!
Brandon still has this nice 1962 Chevythat he built in California in 1995. It sports a Ford 9" rear end, roll cage, and two different engines, one for racing (377"), and a street 350, 4-speed.
Brandon still rides this 77-inch ironhead that he has had for 29 years. Lots of milled aluminum parts on this one
